CEBERT ENTERS INTO AGREEMENT WITH ROXANE LABORATORIES TO PURCHASE FULL LINE OF METHADONE PRODUCTS

BIRMINGHAM, AL (February 2, 2009) -- Cebert Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is pleased to announce the sale of all of Cebert’s rights to their current line of Methadone products and Methadone-related assets, including remaining inventory, to Roxane Laboratories, Inc. on January 30, 2009. The board approved the sale, the holders of a majority of Cebert’s outstanding shares approved the transaction, and closed the asset purchase agreement on January 30, 2009. A local Birmingham firm, FHL Capital, Inc., headed by Ed Finch assisted Cebert in negotiating the transaction with Roxane Laboratories, Inc.

Cebert continues to develop additional products for indications such as generalized anxiety, panic disorder, social phobia and oncology and anticipates a future product launch in mid-2010.
