COLUMBUS, OH (September 8, 1999) - Roxane Laboratories, Inc. announced the reintroduction of Alprazolam Intensol^TM 1mg/mL. Alprazolam Intensol^TM is the only concentrated Alprazolam solution on the market, available in a 30mL bottle calibrated dropper.

Intensols^TM are concentrated oral solutions, easily administered in a GI tube, food or beverage because of a calibrated dropper in every bottle. They eliminate the need to crush tablets or dissolve capsules, and allow large doses to be delivered less invasively than injections.

Roxane Laboratories, Inc. in conjunction with Cebert Pharmaceuticals, Inc., will promote Alprazolam Intensol^TM as well as two currently available Intensols, Lorazepam Intensol^TM 2mg/mL and Diazepam Intensol^TM.
